 Who we are!

The Congregational United Church of Christ in Bradenton, Florida is a church for all people. Our members are not bound by any specific creed but, rather, respond to the motto:

in essentials, unity;
in non-essentials, liberty;
in all things, charity.

With more than fifty years of faithfulness behind us and Christ’s leadership in front of us, we are people of many shapes and sizes – couples, singles, widowed, divorced, young and old, who, with the help of our Snowbirds, are more than three-hundred-fifty strong. We come from many backgrounds – Congregational, Evangelical, Anglican, Episcopalian, Reformed, Lutheran, Roman Catholic, Baptist, Presbyterian, Methodist and many more, and some of us never belonged to a church before we found this one. There are enough of us to be strong, with diverse talents and concerns, and we are small enough to know and care about each other. No matter who or where you are on life’s journey, you are welcome here.
