Kids Club at Congregational UCC is a before and after school child care program. Kids Club provides activities for elementary children while their parents work.

Kids Club transports the children to their school in the morning and picks them up after school.  Parents can complete their work day knowing that their children are being supervised by caring staff members, homework is being completed with the assistance of homework helpers, and a healthy snack is available after school each day. 

Currently, Kids Club services the following elementary schools:  Ballard, Bayshore, Bradenton Charter School, Manatee School of Arts and Sciences, Moody, Orange Ridge, and Prine.  Kids Club opens at 6:30 am and closes promptly at 6:00 pm.   Kids Club is open for most school holidays including record days and holiday breaks.  A calendar is available which lists the twelve holidays.  Kids Club also offers a full time summer camp, which includes field trips and other fun activities.  Fees are available by calling the Kids Club office at 941-751-4182.  Family discounts and limited scholarships are available. 

Children are divided in groups based on their age and grade level.  Classrooms are set up in learning centers where children can choose an activity based on their interest.  Language activities, science materials, table games, puzzles, building materials, dramatic play opportunities, as well as Nintendo and computers are offered.  Children rotate between the classrooms to ensure that each child gets a variety of opportunities to grow and develop in all areas.  Teachers are careful to guide each experience so that the child learns new ideas and concepts each day.

Kids Club also offers free Voluntary Pre-Kindergarten for four year olds.  This program is paid for by the State of Florida.  Be sure to call about enrolling your child in this free educational opportunity.  Pre-k children experience a variety of materials and learning activities.  The classroom is set up in learning centers, and the teacher guides many activities both individually and in a large group setting.  Children will learn the skills necessary to ensure their readiness to enter kindergarten.

A breakfast program is provided as well as an after school snack.  During the summer, a hot, nutritious lunch is provided each day.  Kids Club contracts with the USDA food program that allows us to offer this at no additional cost to you. 

Kids Club also has a contract with Resource Connection for Kids and will gladly accept your eligible children upon completion of enrollment paperwork.  They monitor our program each quarter to ensure the quality of our care.  We are also licensed through the Department of Children and Families.  Our license number is C23MA0058.
